Jennifer Herzig Violin, Piano
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Illinois as well as a Master of Music from the Longy School of Music. She made her European debut as soloist with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in Kiev in 2010, and also has extensive chamber and orchestral experience. In addition to being a violinist, Jennifer is also an accomplished pianist. She studied piano for over 13 years and regularly performs as an accompanist and church musician. Jennifer has experience teaching piano and violin to both children and adults bringing a creative and energetic approach to traditional methods.
Carlo Mauricio is the assistant conductor of the MIT Concert Choir and Chamber Chorus under Dr. William Cutter. He has performed as a solo, orchestral, and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe and recently served as concertmaster of the Boston Opera Collaborative under Pennsylvania Ballet conductor Beatrice Affron. Carlo is currently pursuing a degree in violin performance at the Boston Conservatory, where he studies with Rictor Noren. He also studies orchestral conducting with Ken-David Masur, associate conductor of the Boston Symphony, and Andrew Altenbach, Director of Opera studies at the Boston Conservatory, as well as voice with Bradley Williams at the New England Conservatory.
